Production BLOG: Day 13
When you shoot "on location" you have to figure out how to make the best
of what that location gives you. On the first day we discovered that the
window between the sales floor and the office was going to be a problem.
For those who have never been on a film set, reflection in glass and off
of mirrors can be a major pain when they reflect equipment into the scene.
Instead of bemoaning this issue we trurned it to our artistic advantage
and shot characters (who otherwise would have not been in the shot) in
the glass. Certainly not a new technique, it did allow for a little more
depth in the finished product.
